In this section I have decided that I will have an overall album review section of some of the best albums liked by afrobeat listeners in 2016. It is going to be 'END OF YEAR FAVES! Album Reviews by YOU!' Followed by the albums being reviewed ( Revolution, Beat 4 Me, Afrobeat Dancehall & MegaMix).

Magazine Features

This is going to be the main content that will be included in my magazine. This will included everything on the coverlines, and I will also add more elements to it such as Album reviews, 2016 Afrobeat Charts, More Exclusives ( Davido collab with Meek Mill, Capital XTRA on AFROBEATS 2016, Shatta Wale's advice for upcoming artists), Highlights ( WizKid @ Wireless 2016 & AFROBEAT JAMBOREE 2017)

 

Editorial

I have decided to include a small section to have an editorial message featured, in order to add a sense of passion into the magazine making it desirable to my target audience as it contains a personal touch.

 

Competitions

Win music CD 'Revolution'. There will be a small section on how it can be won( e.g. text details).

Design Elements

For the design element of my magazine, I am going to focus on the maintenance of the colour scheme, banners, the logo and also the typeface to keep up the afrobeat genre feel.

Date

The date that my magazine will have on it will be '31st Dec 2016', New Years Eve Edition.

 

Magazine Logo

I am yet to design my logo for my magazine, however I am keeping it very simple. As the magazine is going to be called 'AfrocentriX', I have decided the logo will be 'AX'. The 'A' will be alternating colours, and the 'X' plain white to represent the masthead as well as the brand identity. This will be on a mini-banner.

Issue Number

This is going to be a random number, I am going to make this 228, so it's seen as quite new which shows the upcoming popularity of afrobeats.

These will be next to the features on the contents page so content can be differentiated.
