I generated some ideas for my magazine name, and asked a sample of 20 people (13-25) for their opinion of the best one. As you can see, AfrocentriX came first and afRodesiac came last. I think this is because the most popular masthead gives off the impression of the afro influence being made explicit straight away, and the 'centriX' implies that the influence is centre of attention. I have decided the masthead for my magazine will be an ombre of the typical afro colours, then the last letter 'X' will be a plain white colour.
