Analysing Types of Shots Used
In this section, I will be analysing a range of popular shots usually used in the music industry and mainly music magazines. These consists of Close up (CU), Medium Shot (MS), also Long Shot (LS).
CLOSEUP
CU's are very close image that is usually used to highlight details in a scene. it can be used to reveal horror and also mystery. This shot really denotes detail of a subject and can make the audience sometimes feel a sense of connection to the atmosphere. CU's tend to be of the face.

MEDIUM SHOT
MS's is a shot, that is usually from above the knees and up. There tends to be a lot of room above the head. This shot is usually used to show movement of an individual within a scene, along with body language. Depending of negative or positive body image, will have influence on whether someone will be attracted to the magazine.This shot really illustrates detail of a subject and still gives a generous amount of context.

LONG SHOT
LS's are shots usually established by getting a shot of a character and setting. There tends to be a lot of room above the head. This shot shows context of whats going on and also the characters surrounding. The scene has influence on the scene massively.This shot really emphasise mainly character and setting.
