After undergoing my own research, I found that I have an urban target audience.

UK Tribes conducted their research in quantitate and qualitative way.

Quantitative research methods include as online survey called find Your Tribe. This is spread through relevant blogs and online media . Also, data  based on what the UK youth desire. This is found across over 250 brands and media, as well as lifestyle attitudes and habits.

Qualitative research methods include desk research , depth Interviews, expert interviews with marketers, media, event promoters, video and picture diaries , SMS and finally obtained insight.

MY URBAN TARGET AUDIENCE can be described as stylish through the patterned clothing and accessories, they listen to mainstream Hip Hop/POP as well as Afrobeats which highlights their motivation. They spend plenty of time online and on social media, hanging with their friends and shopping in shops that try and incorporate African print into their collections.

I tried to use certain research methods for my primary evidence such as questionnaires, video interviews and graphs to help me gain a sense of what my target audience are like and would expect from my product. Both methods are significant as it gives me statistics and numerical data (quantitative) whereas also gaining answers based on reason and opinion( qualitative).

For my secondary research I gained information from the UK Tribes website which gave me insight as to which target audience group, best suited mine.

Having such a target audience, meant i had to try and incorporate this into my product...I did this through factors such as:

Language

Clothing

As you can see, there is the use of ALLITERATION so that my magazine would appeal to my target demographic.

Again, it is evident that I have used appealing and exciting language to make my target audience want to read it more. I have tried to use use hyperbolic language to emphasise the creativity of the magazine.

Even though my magazine is cross cultural and UK based, I have still tried to maintain that element of afrobeat style clothing and accessories to still highlight the Afrobeat qualities.

I have incorporated urban music iconography such as the headphones and the snap back to show a sense of multiculturalism within the magazine.
