ORIGINAL AND EDITED IMAGES

I brightened all over my photos before I started to make any major edits. All edited photos can be seen to the left. All images that will be featured, are side by side the edited (brightened) version. The brightening was essential as it has made my images more lively and alluring.

In order to brighten Joanna's teeth, I used the lasso tool and selected that teeth area. I then mastered the yellows,  and changed them to how I wanted.

I used the spot healing tool to removes any impurities from Joanna's face to give off the look of the industry.

I then removed the backgrounds for  selected photos. I did this to allow my magazine to look real. Down below is an example of how I went around this.

In this video, you will see the editing process that I went through on Adobe Photoshop in order for my magazine to look appealing. Firstly, as you can see I used the Quick Selection tool and selected the area that I wanted to keep. By zooming in  and out of the image along with changing the brush size, I was able to concentrate on small areas and make sure everything was selected properly. After the area I wanted was properly selected, I inversed the image so it would focus on the background. Next, I used the Background Eraser tool to get rid of the background and still keep the area I wanted as it was selected. My end result was the image without the background intruding .
